emugle policy on protection of copyrighted material

emugle does not store files in the database, only files information, such as file names, size, etc. is stored in the database. This web site does not contain any illegal or copyrighted material. Also, emugle does not provide any links to file distributors, this information is obtained by aditional P2P software.

Peer to peer networks are plenty of public domain content, the goal of emugle is to provide a nice search engine for downloading public domain content. Unafortulately some people could be sharing copyrighted material and we can not review millions of files so we can not prevent such activities. We condem this actions and we are ready to co-operate with copyright holders. If you are the owner of the file and want it to be removed from the search engine, please mail to webmaster.emugle@gmail.com.

If you are unsure whether or not a search result could point to a copyrighted material, don't exchange it until you have either gotten permission, or found out for sure that it is in the public domain. Users should be aware that some of the files that other users designate to share may have been created or distributed in violation of copyright laws.
